This is what I call a dollar store craft! I purchased the headband and zipper at a dollar store. The ribbon, flower and jewel brad I already had on hand!
Items Needed:
Headband
Zipper (long enough to cover headband)
Fabric Flowers
Jewel
Ribbon
Hot Glue Gun
How to make:
1. Unzip zipper
2. Cut zipper to be the length of the headband from one end to the other.
3. Starting at the bottom, glue one size of zipper (facing out and zipper teeth
hanging over headband edge) to headband with Hot Glue Gun.
4. Starting at the same end as before, glue the other zipper around headband (so that zipper teeth hang over headband) There will be empty space in the middle of headband where the zipper isn't touching.
5. Using ribbon of your choice, glue ribbon down to headband covering
where the zipper did not touch headband.
6. Using flowers and a jewel brad, attach brad to flowers.
7. Glue flower to headband.
8. Trim up bottom edges of zipper to look nice.
