12 Days of Christmas

I love giving and receiving the 12 Days of Christmas.  Here is one version that I enjoyed making for a friend.

Items Needed:  

12 Envelopes

12 Medium Binder Clips

Scrapbook Paper

Embellishments

Adhesive or glue

Ribbon

Directions:

1.  Cut out background color of paper to match envelope size.  I alternated between green & red for each envelope.

2.  Attach paper to envelopes using adhesive or glue.

3.  Decorate each envelope as you see fit.  I used (12) 2" squares.

4.  Attach numbers

5.  Cut out paper to cover binder clips.  Again, I alternated colors.

6.  Attach paper to binder clips.

7.  Fill envelopes.  I did the # of days with # of items in the envelope.  My theme was crafting.  For example, day 4 had 4 buttons, day 5 had 5 flowers, etc.

8.  Once all envelopes are decorated lay ribbon on the floor.  Lay envelopes on top of ribbon in order so that the top of the ribbon and the top of the envelope are flush.

9.  Using binder clips, attach envelope to ribbon.
